NJ Voters Head to Polls
Tuesday June 7, 2005
New Jersey voters head to the polls Tuesday in the first step towards electing a new governor this fall.
There are
seven Republicans vying to run against Democratic candidate Sen. Jon Corzine. They are Todd Caliguire, Paul DiGaetano, Douglas Forrester, Steve Lonegan, John Murphy, Robert Schroeder and Bret Schundler. Schundler's campaign was embarrassed by The Bergen Record and PoliticsNJ when they demonstrated that a website photo for Schundler "gear" was a
Photoshoped image that John Pettitt had taken during the Howard Dean Campaign. Pettitt says that the agency -- Big Fish -- claimed it "took and owned" the photo; he is waiting for a settlement offer for the copyright violation.
